Backstory: Once an ambitious scholar from the The House of Endless Pages, Eldric was exiled after a controversial expedition led to the mysterious disappearance of his team. Now, he operates a dimly lit shop tucked between crumbling stone buildings, "Varn's Curios & Chronologies," dealing in rare artifacts and forbidden tomes. His wares often come with hushed warnings and suspiciously incomplete histories.

Personality: Eldric is meticulous, skeptical, and disarmingly honest about the dangers of the items he sells. He respects intelligence, despises ignorance, and grows impatient with those who haggle frivolously. Beneath his stern demeanor lurks a relentless curiosity—and perhaps guilt—that drives him to seek artifacts tied to his past mistakes.
